The overwhelming boost of self-confidence my patients show after electrolysis reaffirms the fact that my own need for electrolysis was the main impetus for my career selection. The problem of excessive body hair is more common than you might expect. It's estimated that superfluous hair may affect as many as 90 percent of all men and women to some degree.
Although there are temporary solutions to the problem such as tweezing and shaving, which are most common, I try to caution people about the long-term effects of some hair removal solutions -- especially for facial hair. Temporary solutions often cause hair to re-grow darker and more coarse, and the new growth may be even less tolerable than before.
The increasing demands for electrolysis may be due in part to the increasing amount of stress we incur daily in our professional and family lives. It's a very personal situation, but as a healthcare professional, I make sure that all information remains confidential in order to protect the privacy of my clients.
Whether it's a cosmetic necessity or a matter of personal preference, electrolysis is a simple and safe way to solve the problem permanently.
